Assistive Devices Program
Custom Orthotics of London Inc. is recognized by the Assistive Devices Branch (“ADP”) of the Ministry of Health as a Registered Vendor for Orthotic Devices through the Assistive Devices Program.
The objective of the Assistive Devices Program is to provide consumer-centered support and funding to Ontario residents who have long-term physical challenges and to provide access to personalized assistive devices appropriate for the individual’s daily living needs.
Devices covered by the program are intended to enable people with physical challenges to increase their independence.
Non-Insured Health Benefits Program
The Non-Insured Health Benefits Program (“NIHB”) is Health Canada’s National, Health Benefit program that provides coverage for benefit claims for a specified range of medical supplies and equipment for eligible First Nations people and Inuit. Veterans Affairs Canada
Veterans Affairs Canada (“DVA”) provides financial support to qualified Veterans for the health-care services or benefits available through VACs 14 Programs of Choice. Click on the attached link for more information:
Workplace Safety & Insurance Board
Custom Orthotics of London Inc. has entered into an agreement with the Worplace Safety and Insurance Board (“WSIB”) for the ongoing provision of specified healthcare products/services that injured workers may require as a result of a work-related injury or disease. This includes products that are prescribed by a health professional, and used as a treatment or functional aid during the worker’s recovery from a work-related injury, or used to improve or maintain the worker’s independent living.
Private Insurance Companies
We are Preferred Providers of many third party insurance companies including but not limited to Greenshield, Manulife and Sunlife. As each insurance policy is individualized, it is important to understand your coverage. We can assist you with clarification of terminology and funding issues with the insurance companies
